Introductory

Meeting

The first meeting is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what’s bringing you here, and answer any questions you may have, about therapy in general or my approach in particular.

It’s also an opportunity to see if there’s a sense of trust and motivation to begin working together.

There’s no pressure or obligation to continue afterwards.

Plan

If you decide to continue, we’ll schedule a full intake session.
In that session, we’ll explore your personal background, identify psychological, physical, and social factors that may be contributing to your current difficulties.

We will then define your goals together and schedule the first follow-up sessions.

Although on average between 5 and 10 sessions are usually needed, the length of the therapy varies from person to person. It depends on several factors, such as the complexity of your concerns and the kind of support you're looking for.

The process will be as brief as possible and as long as truly helpful.

Along the process, we’ll take time to reflect on the progress you’ve made and through an evaluation we will explore any areas that might still need attention.

The evaluation is also a chance to reset goals or introduce new focus points, ensuring the process continues to support you in the best possible way.

At the end of the process, we’ll reflect on the results together and assess whether your needs have been met.

If difficulties remain, we’ll look at how you can continue working on them.

I will also support you in developing a relapse prevention plan: a personal guide you can return to, helping you maintain the progress you’ve made and continue moving forward with confidence.
